SUMMARY:Workshop | GitOps with Flux
DESCRIPTION:Relying on human operators to remember deployment steps and configuration at all times is risky. GitOps as an operational framework tries to improve this practice with the help of a single source of truth and automatic reconciliation.\nIn this workshop, attendees will get an introduction to Flux, a popular GitOps engine under the CNCF. Over the course of a day, you will learn how to bootstrap Flux, what its architecture looks like, and how to deploy and configure Kubernetes infrastructure and applications in an automated, proven way. By the end, you will have a working, reproducible Flux setup managing real workloads.\nIf you’re dealing with drifting state between deployments and configuration that worked just yesterday but doesn’t anymore, this workshop is for you.\nAttendees are expected to have fundamental Kubernetes knowledge and be comfortable with Git. Familiaritywith GitLab is a plus.\n
