THE SPEAKER INFORMATION

PRIOR TO YOUR PRESENTATION

We kindly ask you to be present in your allocated room 15 minutes in advance.
One of our staff members will assist you to arrange the presentation equipment, meeting your individual needs. Any time during your talk we will be present for further assistance.

PLEASE NOTE:

Before you begin your presentation, make sure you have provided your slide set to our staff. If you have not submitted your presentation slides to the organizing team in advance, make sure your slides have been copied to a USB device provided by our staff.

SOME QUICK FIXES

  • Beamer connection provided is HDMI.
  • The optimal beamer resolution is 16:10 – WXGA 1280Å~800.
  • Please turn off your screensaver.
  • Your speaking time includes a Q&A session!
  • We would be pleased if you include the OSMC logo in your presentation layout.
  • Try to avoid important information at the bottom of your presentation slides, as participants sitting in the back of the conference room will not be able to read it.
  • All software presented must be freely available for download and therefore meet open source standards such as GPL.
  • Presentations accepted for the conference are strictly educational. Content of promotional nature is not accepted.
