Kris Buytaert

Kris Buytaert is a long time Linux and Open Source Consultant. He’s one of instigators of the devops movement, working for Inuits.eu / o11y.eu He started more than one conference series and lost count on how many times he spoke at other events. He spends most of his time working on bridging the gap between developers and operations, while warning people not to make the mistakes he made. He builds infrastructures that can survive the 10th floor test, or a datacenter fire, while actively promoting the devops idea! He hasn’t blogged for a while, but people still point out the title of his blog. Titled “Everything is a Freaking DNS Problem”, it can be found at http://www.krisbuytaert.be/blog/
Vanessa Martini

Vanessa is a Product Manager in the Observability group at Red Hat, focusing on both OpenShift Analytics and Observability UI. She is particularly interested in turning observability signals into answers. She loves to combine her passions: data and languages.
Gunter Geib
DATEV eG
Gunter, a lead architect at DATEV for 20 years, designs and implements observability and AIOps solutions. He aligns DevOps/SRE needs with economic, legal, and operational requirements, focusing on effectiveness, feasibility, and standardization. Initially involved in monitoring and event management, his expertise has expanded to include observability and AIOps. Married with 14-year-old twin boys, Gunter enjoys his home cinema and is active on the board of the Heilsbronn cultural association.
Dave McAllister
NGINX
Currently providing technical OSS insights for NGINX, Dave talks about the advantages of microservices and orchestration to solve distributed systems challenges, especially with open source. Dave has been a champion for open systems and open source from the early days of Linux to today’s world of clouds and containers. He often speaks on topics associated with emerging software architectures and practices, observability, and how open source innovations power today’s world.
Nicolas Schneider
Rise GmbH
Nicolas Schneider is also known as moreamazingnick. He studied medical computer science at TU Wien. Nicolas enjoys working with PHP, extending Icinga Web, fixing bugs in Icinga Web 2 modules, and writing new, interesting modules. Currently, he is employed at RISE GmbH. Nicolas is actively engaged in the Icinga community forum, providing assistance to those in need.
Syed Usman Ahmad
Grafana Labs
Usman is a Senior Developer Advocate at Grafana Labs from Nuremberg, Germany. He works with the Open Source community on the community forum, GitHub and Slack. He has over 15 years of experience in IT and over 10 years in Cloud Support where he served multiple customers all over Europe, US, Japan, etc. He is an active international public speaker participating in multiple conferences and events.
In his free time, Usman likes to spend time with his family, go out on occasional traveling and play games or read comics.
Jens Michelsons

Jens has over 15 years of diverse experience in the IT industry. He started as an OpenNMS consultant and project manager at a regional ISP in Fulda, then became a senior consultant and team leader at it-novum, focusing on IT monitoring with Nagios-based systems, especially openITCOCKPIT. After roles at an SAP provider and the University of Fulda, he returned to openITCOCKPIT as the product and community manager. Jens is married, has two children, and a Beagle.
Patrick Stephens
Chronosphere
Pat has over 20 years experience in software engineering, primarily in the defence domain at Thales. The last few years of this were focused on transformation first to containers then Kubernetes. After Thales he worked on the cloud native team at Couchbase, working on their Golang-based Kubernetes operator. This included producing a custom Fluent Bit deployment for observability needs. Calyptia (founded by the Fluent maintainers) then approached him to come work with them building out their observability products prior to their acquisition this year by Chronosphere.
Andreas Lehr
We Manage UG
Andreas is passionate for all things powering the modern web and helping Teams at Schwarz IT with all challenges around cloud, scaling, reliability, and monitoring. Besides that, he is bootstrapping his own company called “We Manage” where his teams help companies with DevOps, Cloud and SRE challenges. In addition, he is writing a weekly newsletter (German) on Cloud News and Open-Source at allesnurgecloud.com.
