General Information

When does the conference take place?
OSMC takes place in Nuremberg, Germany, from November 17 to 19, 2026.
What makes OSMC different from other IT conferences?
OSMC focuses entirely on open source monitoring and observability. It brings together people who build, run, and improve monitoring systems to share practical experiences and ideas.

The conference also puts a strong focus on networking. Several parts of the program are designed to give participants time and space to meet, talk, and exchange knowledge with others in the community.

Who should attend OSMC?
OSMC is designed for IT professionals who work with monitoring, observability, and the operation of modern IT infrastructures. The conference is particularly relevant for system and network administrators, DevOps and platform engineers, site reliability engineers (SREs), developers, and IT architects.
It is also valuable for IT managers and decision-makers who want to learn more about open source monitoring solutions, best practices, and real-world use cases from complex IT environments.
Will there be hands-on workshops or only talks?
OSMC offers three hands-on workshops on November 17, 2026, where participants can work directly with monitoring tools and learn from experts. Spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended to secure a spot.
Are presentation slides or recordings available after the event?
Yes! All talks will be recorded and the slides will be made available in our conference archives. Access is exclusive to attendees for a limited time.
In which language are the talks held?
All talks at OSMC are held in English.
