Measure what you manage: Sustainability monitoring in digitally sovereign clouds

The ECO:DIGIT project implements open-source monitoring methods to measure energy and LCA emissions in cloud environments, connecting software to real resource use. This session shares practical insights into setting up transparent sustainability monitoring for SCS-compliant clouds, transferable energy and power metrics, managing heterogeneous hardware, accurate energy allocation to virtual resources, and proportional attribution of cloud management components.
