OBSERVABILITY VS MONITORING – A LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS

The term Observability is on everyone’s lips, in every vendor description and generally all around. However, upon closer look it defies any lexical definition. Even Wikipedia does not know what to do with the term and says: The definition of observability varies by vendor. In this talk we will pin down this slippery term using linguistics.
